You say slacker like it’s a bad thing

You say slacker like it’s a bad thing Posted on April 8, 20093 Comments

Man, this whole blogging every day thing is difficult, but I swear I’ll get a hang of it again sometime soon.

Even though I’ve been blogging inconsistently, I still find ways to Twitter and check Facebook during the day, which according to Computer World means I’m likely more productive than my officemate who does neither. Ha.

On the topic of employment, I want to do a little pimping for a fantastic new blog you should all be reading/contributing to: They Took My Stapler. Modern Courtney from Malfeasance is in charge, and she’s taking submissions of crazy office stories to be posted anonymously. If you’ve ever had something you’ve needed to get off your chest about work but don’t want to risk your job, here’s your outlet.

  1. Honestly, working on my edits right now, I don’t know what I’d do without Facebook. I need those little breaks to feel like there are other people out there in the world. It’s like having coworkers.

  2. You know, I think that’s exactly why I logon during work. My lone officemate would drive me batty if he was the only one I had contact with during the day.

  3. Hey, thanks for the Stapler pimpage! It’s been a bit slow lately, so hopefully this will get the submissions rolling in.
