One of my favorite things about Real Simple is the section where they suggest new uses for old household items. My all-time-favorite tip is to use spent toilet paper and paper towel tubes to hold unused extension and computer cords.

I love that idea. Unfortunately, my puppy snatches them up and eats them before we get to do anything with them. I imagine he thinks his dog food doesn't have enough fiber. š
