I’ve had a Tumblr account for a long time but no idea what to do with it since I’m more longwinded than the typical Tumblr user (Tumblee?) I nearly ended up converting it into our wedding blog but decided to build a whole separate website for that.

Lately as I’ve been traveling so much, I’ve noticed I have a great many thoughts I’d like to record as I’m on the road. They always seem to come to me in nuggets and never seem appropriate enough to warrant an entire post here at The MG. And thus, the decision to convert the Tumblr into a travelog was born. After all, there’s an app for that.

The frequency of posts will correspond with the frequency of my travels. I do hope to do a little bit of posting on the honeymoon on Tumblr. And before you get your panties in a wad about me communicating with the outside world during our honeymoon, the Tumblr is just a journal for travel notes. I do not plan on blogging here at the MG or checking Facebook or e-mail or Twitter except in extreme circumstances (say a celebrity sighting).
