As I mentioned in my 2007 books list posting, my movie-watching habit suffered a bit this year because of how many books I read. Which is to say I saw one movie at the theater and watched one-half of two movies from the ol’ Netflix subscription that have been sitting on my shelf since … January. In my defense, during the time those DVDs have been sitting there I’ve also moved into a new house and spent half my waking hours traveling for work.
So, here’s my short, sweet and to-the-point ranking of the best movies I saw in 2007. Enjoy.
1. Hairspray
Candidates for the list if I ever finish watching them.
1. Thank You For Smoking
2. Over the Hedge
I’ll try to do better next year.
MG – did you see Juno yet? It’s a must, and it’s from the Thank You For Smoking crew.
Not yet, but it’s No. 1 on my to-see list, which I shall be tackling as soon as I’m done with my travels.
