Oregon tailback Jonathan Stewart, who couldn’t get into the end zone, let alone past the first down line in overtime. Oregon State ran away with the upset over the once media-darling Ducks.

Rich Rodriguez, coach of the team formerly known as the national contending No. 2 team in America, on his team’s loss to Pitt: “It was just a nightmare. The whole thing was a nightmare.”

  1. Damn orange pants. As soon as the buzz began outside the Georgia Dome saying that they had the orange pants on, I knew we were doomed.

On the upside, though, as one of my friends put it, “This is kind of like we beat Georgia three times in one year.” Strangely reassuring.

  2. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. That almost makes that loss worth it. Almost.

I had the same thought about the pants. The last time they broke those out they nearly lost to Memphis again. I like though that someone somewhere in the program thought to themselves “We need to pull out all the stops to win. I know! Orange pants!”
