Because the buttercups and forsythia are blooming, I’ve decided it’s time for some spring cleaning over here at The Modern Gal blog. In the coming days/week or so/whenever I find time, I’ll be paring down the sidebar a bit, editing the blogroll and rearranging some stuff. I may have a few other tricks up my sleeve.
I wanted to take this opportunity for two things:
1. Ask if you, modern gals and guys, have any suggestions for changes you’d like to see here at The Modern Gal? More of a particular kind of post? Something missing from the blogroll? Anything that needs to go? I’d like for this, the forum of our modern circle of friends, to be a democracy, so feel free to speak up.
2. And say a hearty THANK YOU for reading The Modern Gal, because I don’t say it nearly enough. It warms my heart every day that there are people interested in what the Modern Gal has to say. I love that any time I have an issue, I can bring it here and get some fantastic input, encouragment or advice. I wish the real world were more like our little land o’ blogosphere, and I wish I could hang out with my modern peeps in person on a daily basis.
Ok, that’s all. Stay tuned.
I’m still new to your blog. I really like it though!
Blog makeovers are in the air! Spring must be here – though I wouldn’t know…it’s supposed to snow tomorrow!
I think your blog is fabulous. Don’t change a damn thing…unless you want to 🙂 I trust you haha!
Beyond my issues with the Blogger platform in general (I can’t stand word verification and having to type in my URL if I don’t want to link to my Blogger profile!) I love your template, and your choice of colors is quite pleasing. Keep up the good work!
Awwww, thanks ladies.
Noelle: You bring up one of my primary frustrations. In the rookie stages of my blogging, I chose Blogger because it seemed the easiest choice. Now that I’m more established, I find I like the esthetics of WordPress more, but don’t want to change domain names. Sigh.
