Spring cleaning Posted on March 26, 20084 Comments

Because the buttercups and forsythia are blooming, I’ve decided it’s time for some spring cleaning over here at The Modern Gal blog. In the coming days/week or so/whenever I find time, I’ll be paring down the sidebar a bit, editing the blogroll and rearranging some stuff. I may have a few other tricks up my sleeve.

I wanted to take this opportunity for two things:

1. Ask if you, modern gals and guys, have any suggestions for changes you’d like to see here at The Modern Gal? More of a particular kind of post? Something missing from the blogroll? Anything that needs to go? I’d like for this, the forum of our modern circle of friends, to be a democracy, so feel free to speak up.

2. And say a hearty THANK YOU for reading The Modern Gal, because I don’t say it nearly enough. It warms my heart every day that there are people interested in what the Modern Gal has to say. I love that any time I have an issue, I can bring it here and get some fantastic input, encouragment or advice. I wish the real world were more like our little land o’ blogosphere, and I wish I could hang out with my modern peeps in person on a daily basis.

Ok, that’s all. Stay tuned.

  1. Blog makeovers are in the air! Spring must be here – though I wouldn’t know…it’s supposed to snow tomorrow!

I think your blog is fabulous. Don’t change a damn thing…unless you want to 🙂 I trust you haha!

  2. Beyond my issues with the Blogger platform in general (I can’t stand word verification and having to type in my URL if I don’t want to link to my Blogger profile!) I love your template, and your choice of colors is quite pleasing. Keep up the good work!

  3. Awwww, thanks ladies.

Noelle: You bring up one of my primary frustrations. In the rookie stages of my blogging, I chose Blogger because it seemed the easiest choice. Now that I’m more established, I find I like the esthetics of WordPress more, but don’t want to change domain names. Sigh.
