In case you missed him on 60 Minutes last night, Al Gore with The Alliance for Climate Protection is launching a multi-million-dollar ad campaign aimed at spreading the word about fighting global warming.
They showed some of the ads, which were done by the same agency that brought us the Geico gecko and cavemen, on the show last night and they’re pretty good.

An aside:
I can’t stand people who criticize Gore and say he’s just in it for the attention or the glory. I say who gives a crap what his motivations are, his message is true and necessary.

As another aside: Gore is using his profit from An Inconvenient Truth and the cash award that came with the Nobel Prize to fund this campaign. Kinda ridiculous if he’s just in it for the attention.
If we all pitch in a little we really CAN make big changes.
