I’m totally enjoying wasting time with this TypeRacer online typing game. You pit your wpm (words per minute) against others out there in the internetosphere. It totally reminds me of the typing class I took in high school where I spent the whole hour each day playing the Mario Brothers typing game. It was awesome.
What’s not awesome? This writer learning her wpm isn’t quite as high as she thought. I tend to have a problem remembering to capitalize things. Numbers seriously slow me down too.
I am using blogging as my mean of procrastination at the moment. Whatever works I guess, but procrastination is a very important part of the work day! E-mailed you back by the way.
Wow, I could probably play that game all day, and it looks like I’m working.
I still look at the keyboard when I type, one letter at a time.
Yeah, I can type really fast, but I make a ton of mistakes that I have to go back and fix. It works great for fiction when you’re just trying to get ideas out, but I’d be an awful typist.

I tried playing it after reading this post and I got an average of 45 wpm. I tend to make mistakes as well though. And the punctuation marks slow me down. The keyboard sometimes seems to be huge when I am trying to type. LOL. Guess I’ll have to find a smaller keyboard.
