I celebrate the beginning of baseball season by bringing you something that has the potential for becoming a tragedy: The Cubs are threatening to obstruct the views of the rooftop seats across the street from Wrigley if the owners don’t share their profits.

Now, I’m not a Cubs fan in the least, but this is still potentially a tragedy. Those rooftop seats are as much a part of Cubs baseball as those weird hotdogs they sell at Wrigley and Old Style beer.

In other baseball news yesterday, the Cubbies lost (ha ha) a close one, my Cards got postponed holding a 5-1 lead over the Rockies and the Pirates tried their best to give a five-run lead away to the Braves but managed instead to outlast them in a marathon game.
