Aveeno and Rite Aid are teaming up with the Skin Cancer Foundation to present the Road to Healthy Skin Tour. They’ve got a customized RV which will stop at Rite Aid stores and other locations to provide screening services.
I’ve had several friends who never have spent a lot of time in the sun get diagnosed with skin cancer, and let’s just say that scares the bejeebus out of me considering how much time I’ve spent in the sun without sunscreen. What I’m saying is GO GET SCREENED! There are tons of locations on the Health Skin Tour’s list.
This is wonderful!
I have a lot of moles and marks, so I go for screening every 6 months. But before I went the first time, the idea of it was terrifying. It seems so much less scary to just pop over to Rite Aid to get things checked out than to have to find a dermatologist and wait 3 months for an appointment.
Thanks for the info. I have a spot on my arm I keep meaning to get checked. I think I don’t have an excuse now!
Oh, awesome. I’ve been meaning to do this anyway!
