According to this article in the New York Times, eBay is going to be angling more toward the “Buy it Now” method than the auction way of selling things.
I can’t decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. For buyers, auctions are sometimes a way of finding things on the cheap but having to wait out an auction is obnoxious. For sellers, if demand>supply, then the auction method is probably favorable.
Random eBay aside: I love the old “Do it eBay” commercial spots.
I think I’m the only person left who hasn’t used eBay. I don’t know how it happened, I just never have.
I’ve haven’t used eBay either!!
I love this commercial too. I totally remember it.
I don’t Ebay very much because I don’t like PayPal. I think the buy it now feature is good because with the patience of a two year old, I think I might die if I wait longer!
