For the second year running, I’ve been elected … nay, blackmailed into being my office’s March Madness Bracket Commissioner. I don’t know how I get so lucky.

Anyway, while out last night with Mickey and Courtney catching a show, or rather waiting on the opening act that was over an hour late because the axle on their van had broken, the three of us chatted a bit about sports and the upcoming madness that is this part of March when Mickey had what I think to be a very excellent idea: a blog-based March Madness pool.

I told Mickey I’d throw it out there and see if anyone bit. My thoughts are this: no money will exchange hands, you just enter for fun and I’ll offer some sort of REALLY AWESOME PRIZE to the winner once i figure out what that REALLY AWESOME PRIZE is. I’d prefer to take submissions by e-mail only, so you’d have to figure out how to fill out your bracket and get it to me in electric form, all before Thursday. Unless your Mickey or Courtney or any other Knoxville person reading this, in which you get to deliver in person if you want. Or I know you well enough I don’t mind giving you one of my addresses (yes, I have more than one. I like to keep people guessing.)
