I love snow, but I’m not sure I envy any of you who are stuck dealing with the current snowmaggedon. We’ve had beyond our usual share of snow in the mountains of Tennessee, but we got spared in this latest storm. Instead, we got a brief blessing of two days of 50+ degrees, and the temperatures have been reaching beyond the freezing mark for over a week.
It did flurry a bit early last week, which reminded me of when I first stepped foot into the house that eventually became our home. It was almost exactly a year ago, and it was snowing the day my awesome real estate agent Suzy, the Modern Love Machine and I visited it. The kitchen is in the back of the house and when we walked into it, we were greeted by these gorgeous windows with the idyllic site of snow flurries in the view.
Kind of like this … (the screens in the window kind of obscure the idyllicness of the whole thing)
I don’t know if the previous homeowners turned on the snow just to hook us, but it was definitely did hook us.
Seeing the backyard like this certainly doesn’t make me hate snow either …
I’m jealous of this post for two reasons.
1) You have snow.
2) You have a yard!
Sigh. One day.
Your house looks so gorgeous! I hope to make it up there and see it sometime.
The house is gorgeous! I love the yard and it looks amazing in the snow.
Those windows! That kitchen! I am jealous.
