Did you know that getting diagnosed with cancer is a full-time job? I had just assumed it would consume me emotionally, but really it’s just consumed my calendar. I haven’t had time to get particularly emotional.

By the way, I’ve been trying to work my actual full-time job during all of this, primarily to hand stuff off to people so things wouldn’t get missed while I was missing.

Here’s an accounting of the first month’s worth of appointments.

Friday, July 31: Surgery for port-a-cath insertion

Thursday, Aug. 6: Labwork

Thursday, Aug. 6: Chemo
