The Modern Gal finally caught up on her Real Housewives of the O.C. watching tonight, and has to say she’s very disappointed so far in season 3.
Where’s Jo? She was always good for some “now I’m engaged,” “now I’m single,” “now I’m a pop star (yeah, right),” “now I’m engaged again” drama. And Slade was someone I loved to despise, though I think the husband of new housewife Tamra may be a good replacement for him. Tamra unfortunately doesn’t seem to have any connections to the other four housewives, and that’s tragic because it probably means her husband won’t be sleeping with Lauri. Sigh.
If there was any significant drama in the first two episodes, I completely missed it. There was a flash of brilliance when Lauri started crying about son Josh moving in with her fiance’s ex-wife. Now that is some seriously dramatic shit. Tell me more!

P.S. A bit of Wikiresearch tells me that the reason Jo isn’t on the show anymore is because she’s still living in LA and isn’t keeping in touch with the other housewives. Wiki also said that she and Slade are working on a Bravo spinoff show involving her music.
I’d watch a Slade/Jo spinoff. I’d probably even watch an all Slade show just to hate him. I have no shame.
