The problems with movie trailers Posted on January 14, 20081 Comment

My favorite techno-geek, The NY Times’ David Pogue, addressed the problems with movie trailers in his column last week. You know how you’ll see something in a movie trailer that never seems to show up in the actual movie? Or the trailer just completely misleads you on what kind of movie it’s advertising?

Jon Turteltaub, director of “National Treasure: Book of Secrets,” explains in the column just why that happens (and promises it’s not the director’s fault).

  1. Probably the director does not even want to see how producer ruins his work in a trailer
