I’m not going to lie. I’m more than a little apprehensive of Britney’s cameo tonight on my favorite running sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. I’m glad to see she’s taking a step to righting her life — as much as I love a train wreck, I prefer comeback stories. But why does it have to be on my favorite show?
I do hope this stunt equals ratings equals CBS freakin’ renewing HIMYM finally. Why has it taken so freakin’ long?
In related news, CBS is auctioning off part of Brit’s wardrobe from the show to benefit the Natural Resources Defense Council, which I’m guessing was Marshall’s decision.
I thought she did pretty well. She was cute.
I LOVED that Sarah Chalke was on though. Do you think the St. Patty’s Day remark means she really is . . . well, you know.
I too am apprehensive. I am in AZ so I have another half-hour until B-time. I hope my favorite show is not corrupted!
And I hope CBS renews HIMYM! I can’t handle them canceling another of my favorite shows, since they just canceled Jericho. I only watch a few shows a week and to lose one, like when Gilmore Girls ended, is sad.

Allie: Yeah, I was wondering that too. I guess if CBS doesn’t renew it, she very well could be the one, but I can’t stand the idea that this would be the last season.
Everything I’ve read is sort of mixed … the CBS execs don’t “get” HIMYM, but the producers aren’t worries (yeah right).
Oh, and Brit’s cameo didn’t seem to disruptive. If anything, they could have done more with it than they did!
