Modern friends, I’m off to Memphis for the weekend to watch the Modern Beau run in his very first full marathon. (I will repeat, he’s absolutely crazy, but I’m proud of him.)
Here’s something I’m sharing perhaps a week too late, but I hope you still find it useful. USA Today has a handy-dandy interactive calendar listing all the Christmas specials on TV so you won’t miss your favorite if you haven’t already. Fortunately I own a copy of The Grinch (the original, not the creepy Jim Carrey version), so no loss in missing out on that. There’s still time to catch Charlie Brown, and isn’t it amazing how It’s a Wonderful Life only plays once a season nowadays?
Lol, glad I’m not the only one who thought the Jim Carrey version was creepy.
have fun in memphis! i am actually signed up for the half marathon…until i realized that training for a half marathon and having a baby at the same time was crazy. so i guess ill be one of the no-shows…
