Modern Friends, I was supposed to have told you all about Neil’s Cambodia Challenge before the end of the year, and well, I was a bit forgetful. Neil’s challenge has been something I’ve been following this year, thanks to my friend Allie at Allie’s Answers.

Neil was working to raise $20,000 forThe Cambodian Children’s Fund through the Off The Mat, Into The World Seva Challenge by Dec. 31. I haven’t yet heard how he did — Allie, maybe you can fill us in?

I’m sure it’s not to late to donate to the Seva Challenge, so take a look and see if it inspires you. If nothing else, consider the words that Neil, a freelance writer and yoga teacher, prints on the back of his business cards:

with our intentions
may we be good
with our words
may we be giants

I know not everyone does the New Year’s resolutions thing, but maybe you could at least adopt those words as your personal mission for 2009!
