The Modern Gal is back! Back from vacation and sorta back from her computerless void and ready to start blogging again.
Of course, as is always the case when one returns from a long vacation only to immediately jump into work again, I’m disorganized, frazzled and don’t seem to have a clue what I’m doing or where I am. There are piles of dirty clothes on every inch of my bedroom floor. I have no fresh food in the pantry or fridge. I don’t know when I’m supposed to be working or in what city I’m supposed to be operating out of when I do work. You might say my brain and life are a bit cluttered right now.
Which brings me to this article I found in my inbox a minute ago about how clutter affects our lives. Granted, it’s talking about the physical kind of clutter, but I’ve found when I clear out the physical clutter, much of my mental clutter goes away too.
So in the middle of all your being-healthy, being-nice, being-earth friendly resolutions, take some time to clear some space in your house and life. You might find everything else falls in to place!
