I’m typing this from a coffee shop near my parents’ house. I needed to get out for a few minutes, and it just felt nice to treat myself to a nice  cup of coffeehouse coffee. They’re playing Elvis Christmas music (duh, it’s Memphis), which I absolutely love.

And speaking of the King celebrating the King, Elvis has a new CD out of Christmas duets. My mom was baffled at how he was able to release a CD post mortem, but she obviously doesn’t know Elvis lives. Well now YOU can record a duet with Elvis singing “Blue Christmas.” All you need is a phone to call in and record your part of the duet. How cool, right?
