Today I’m celebrating a month of being single.

I’m celebrating the many people and things that have made me smile this month. Or even better, the ones that have made me laugh.

I’m celebrating that I’ve been reminded that I have friends and lots of them. Even some who surprise me.

I’m celebrating the inspiration those friends can provide through their words.

I’m celebrating that I’ve managed to bounce back from the pain, bitterness and emptiness to keep my heart open and hope for better. And I keep bouncing back, ever time there’s a setback.

I’m celebrating a second chance.
